Veil covers are made of 16-gauge, rust-free aluminum that is powder-coat painted with a semi-gloss, textured, white finish. This provides maximum protections and long-term durability. They are easy to maintain and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
Veil Baseboard covers have been designed to fit over the majority of existing hot water (hydronic) baseboard covers. Please use the measurement guide to insure our covers will work for your specific situation. We also offer solutions for situations where your existing covers are greater in height or depth then our standard covers. No. Our baseboard covers are made to slip over your existing backplate. If you don't have a backplate you can purchase our mounting brackets to ensure a good fit. The number of brackets needed will depend on your size of cover purchased. You can purchase mounting brackets here as well as follow our chart for the amount of brackets needed.
Yes the DEMI baseboard cover works on electric baseboard covers. We solely recommend the DEMI baseboard cover for electric covers. The DEMI is 3.25” in depth and can fit over the majority of electric covers and the venting on the front of the panel allows the heat to easily dissipate. In the case that your current electric covers are installed less than 7 ½” off the floor, please use our Mounting Brackets (link) to install the DEMI covers at a minimum height of 7 ½”. This ensures proper airflow is maintained at the floor and leaves a minimum gap of ¾” between the floor and the bottom of the DEMI cover. The covers and endcaps are made from Aluminum and can be easily altered with tin snips or a drill if needed to accommodate a thermostat or custom size/install.

No they won't. We have a lifetime rust warranty on all our aluminum covers. Check the warranty page for more details.
Yes! We only use recycled aluminum for our covers and our packaging is 100% recyclable.
Veil covers are very safe for children. As a matter of fact, Veil covers make baseboard heaters even safer for children as it blocks access to the heating element, while still allowing the same amount of heat to pass through.
Having said that, Veil covers will still get hot. Thy are not a cool-to-the-touch solution. Caution should be exercised.
Yes! There's no need for tools or contractors. Check out the installation guide for more details.
That is not an issue! Order your panels in the correct size, with "Tight" end caps. This end cap will snap into place at the two ends to give you a clean finished look, without taking up additional space against the wall.

We accept returns within 30 days from purchase date, provided that the product is in new condition, in original packaging and all parts are included. Please note that shipping cost is non-refundable and a 15% restocking fee applies. If you want to return an order, please contact us.

You can define custom lengths while adding any baseboard cover style to your cart on the product page. Alternatively, you can utilize the Custom Length Slider Tool which automatically calculates the number of covers, length of each cover and number of couplers required. Please note that the longest individual cover we offer is 8ft (96 inches) for Atlas, Atlas XL and Titan, while the longest cover for Demi is 6ft (72 inches). For all Custom Lengths greater then 8ft (or 6ft for Demi) we are joining covers together to achieve the custom length request. For further assistance, please contact us.
